The picture on the right shows two walls of the room dedicated to Vladislav Mamshev-Monroe at Manifesta 10, The State Hermitage Museum, 2014. The large painting is “Self poisoned? No, poisoned!!! To Evgenij Kozlov”, 1990. It was originally part of Evgenij Kozlov's collection "2x3m", and is now in a private collection and dedicated to "Dear Pierre" more >>.
The pictures on the right show photographs by various authors; they all feature Mamyshev-Monroe. In the exhibition, none of them was specified with the name of the author or in any other way.

Below is a close-up of two of these pictures. The photograph on the right is a vintage print by Evgenij Kozlov (Inv. no. GM56, see left strip, bottom, on proof sheet 3072).

Kozlov shot this picture in his so-called "Lenin's room", the bathroom of his studio "Russkoee Polee", which he converted into a Lenin memorabilia room with posters, stickers and a large bust. Pictures with Mamyshev-Monroe in the "Lenin's room" are also on vintage prints 3071, 3075 and 3077.

"Ленинская комната" — "Lenin's room". An installation by Evgenij Kozlov in the bathroom of his studio, 1989 / 1991.
At the end of Gorbachev's Perestroika Lenin, the omnipresent icon of socialism, could be criticised more openly. Evgenij Kozlov created "Lenin with red eyes" which gave Lenin a rather diabolic look. more >>
The poster is signed 1989, the two busts were lost when Kozlov closed his studio in 1991.
A different, more frivolous "Lenin with red eyes" appeared in Kozlov's series "Leninskaya Erotika" from 1990.
